Miami Area Dive Sites The Dive Charter Operator I recommend to dive these wreck sites is: RJ Diving Ventures |
Just outside of Ceaser Creek (south of Elliott Key), past daymarker "2," just offshore of Pacific Light lie two F-4 jet fuselages in 80 feet of water. One lies upside down and the other, about 50 feet away, lies on its side. Plan your dive for 90 feet at no more than 25 minutes and take lots of pictures of your buddy posing next to these "underwater" fighters. Leftover relics from Homestead Airforce Base, we are still not sure of the real story of how these jets were disposed of in this watery grave, but rumor has it someone at the base was an avid scuba diver!
